Nobody wanted to be the king of Vegetable kingdom assuming such a responsibility.
The kingdom was full of colors, green from spinach, orange from carrots, red tomatoes, white onions, yellow peppers, bouquet of cauliflower and broccoli everywhere. It was an amazing place full of health and strength.
A call was organized designed to choose the king. But nobody wanted to assume the charge, the preferred other kingdoms like Sweets kingdom, Scrab kingdom, or even, Cold meat kingdom; but not Vegetables kingdom.
Nevertheless, one day, a little man called Luram, became sick. Was really weak, very skinny and could not grow. It was sick, had no energy, and only wanted to sit. Had no strength to jump or run.
One day, a fairy called Lily visited him, and invited him to drink a tonic, she was sure that was going to be good for him. It was made of vegetables, pomegranate, blueberries and elder berry.
When he drank the tonic that Lily the fairy had prepared to little Luram, he started to feel better, with energy, wanted to play, run, and jump again. Fairy Lily visited him again, to check how he was feeling. He said it was great and so, the fairy told Luram:
- “Fine, now you are heathy and strong thanks to the vegetables, what you used to reject, accompanied by dried fruit. So, it´s time to be thankful to the kingdom, giving back the good he has done to you”.
Luram started thinking about what could be the best way to do something good for his kingdom.
He first visited all those who ere sick, invited them to improve their eating habits; showing them the importance of eating vegetables and fruit every day. Invited them to drink a bit of the delicious tonic the fairy gave him. It was so delicious that, when they found out what was made of, realized that could eat that every day.
The inhabitants of the kingdom immediately realized that little Luram was making good to them, so he could be their king. The little answered humbly:
- “I´m not ready to reign yet, because I haven´t improved my eating habits completely, and there is still people here not eating like us. I still have to make everybody understand that not eating all of these can produce them obesity; nevertheless, I will continue working. By the moment I will accept to be, Prince Luram fro Vegetable kingdom.
